Here's a description of the show:
"Ripped from the headlines of the recent election, “You’re A Good Man, Scott Brown” follows the players who captured both the local and national media’s attention. With a keen satirical eye, the new musical will celebrate and poke fun at both the Republican Senator-elect and his Democratic opponent Martha Coakley, taking a wild ride along the campaign trail with a little help along the way from an ol’ pickup truck and the ghost of Senator Ted Kennedy."
It stars a pretty decent amount of my nearest and dearest. Including that bronzed beauty, Evan Kaufman, up there in the poster! Saying "bronzed beauty" makes him sound like a horse. Which I think is a pretty accurate description, huh? Anywho, it also stars my bffl's Trevor Livingston, Quinn Beswick and Bryan Daley! (And Cathleen Carr! Eddie Mejia! And Molly Schreiber!) They're all SO talented. I can't even describe the calibur of talent in that show. The singing. The acting. It was a perfectly casted show.
Plus, Quinn plays a truck. The cutest, sassiest dancing truck in the world. And Bryan Daley totally blew me away. He's so talented. You should hear that boy sing. And he's got the bluest eyes in the world. He's a threat. Just a threat in general. Did I mention how cute Quinn was as a truck? God, I love that truck! (Watch the clip in the link above... it shows him dancing all cute-like) And, well, now that I've sexually harassed two members of the cast... it's probably time to end this thing.
Basically, it's a good show. I love it. I loved it both times. I loved everything about it. If I could marry it, I would. So, if you're in Boston, GO SEE IT. But most of all, I loved that Evan - who plays Scott Brown - massaged MY foot at the bar afterwards. Listen, it's really hard being an audience member. He just has to sing, dance and strip (yes, ladies!)... I have to SIT and USE MY EYES AND EARS.
