So, I promptly went home after the shows on Friday night and watched it. {... then I watched it again on Sunday.} And, I loved it so much. I laughed! I cried! It was just super great. It's about a man named Kevin Clash, who has played Elmo since the beginning. He made it the icon Elmo is today and not just a guest character. He grew up making puppets and admiring Jim Henson and got all these awesome opportunities and eventually worked with Jim Henson (on Labyrinth and Sesame Street and other things) and it was a nice little story of someone seeing success after following their dreams. Plus, he seems like such a great and genuine guy. I like seeing those people succeed!
It also gave a lot of great insight into puppeteering and the Muppet world. Jim Henson was so incredible! The whole Muppet world is incredible! {Guys, I wasn't kidding, I really love the Muppets.} {I'm going to be single forever.} Anyways, it's streaming on Netflix, it's called "Being Elmo: A Puppeteer's Journey" and you should watch it! If only to see the tiny voice of Elmo come out of a big black man.
