I Can See Clearly Now... In The Sun.

I have bought a few pairs of sunglasses in my lifetime, but it was always pointless... because my eye balls are the worst.  No, seriously.  I don't know if you noticed the giant glasses on my face.  They are not for show!  Well, partly.  I mean, I get the huge glasses because they're fashionable and pair well with my face, so I guess you could say that's for show.  But regardless, I can't see a damn thing without them.

So sunglasses have never been my steaze.  I never wore the stupid ones I bought because I'd much rather see than... not see.  Makes sense.  Even if the sun is in my eyes and my eyeballs just got worse.

But I've recently made the decision to bite the bullet and just buy a pair of prescription sunglasses.  I was weighing two options.  The first being Warby Parker, which is my favorite company.  I bought my current regular frames through them.  They have great options, fun names for their frames and for every pair you buy, they send a pair to someone who needs glasses but can't afford them.  (Too bad you can't pick the person though.  That'd be fun.)  Also, they have a thing where you can try five pairs at a time and see which you like best, which is cool.  My options were:

Thatcher (which is what my regular frames are)

Everett (obviously because that's where I'm from)

Then there was Lookmatic.  They had similar types of frames (also with good names) and comparative pricing.  My only option was:

Aesthetically speaking, I like Warby Parker better.  But, I went with Lookmatic because they're a bit cheaper... and I had a coupon code, so I paid even less.  And honestly, I LOVE THEM.  They don't make me feel stupid (which sunglasses generally do) because they look pretty much exactly like my real glasses.

Now my eyes don't hurt.  And I can see when I'm driving.  And my life is great!  I don't know if that's because of the sunglasses, actually.  But, I'm sure it's a contributing factor.
