Last night, while watching Breaking Bad and eating homemade pizza because we're poor, I went on a fake shopping spree and racked up a $1,000 bill. I have a final interview tomorrow for a company that I would absolutely love to work for... and I had another interview last week with a cool company as well. I'm hoping that by Friday I will have a job lined up. That will be the first step in solving all of my problems (if only.) But, until I catch up with all of my finances... I won't be doing any real shopping. Which means no new work outfits!
But, oh, a girl can dream. And ModCloth is the perfect place for a girl to dream! And I only hit the dress section! Don't even get me started on shoes or APARTMENT GOODS!
I have to start focusing on all the good things in my life because it can get real depressing when I only think about the shit I want, need or just plain don't have. Fake shopping is fun... very fun, but things could be a lot worse for me right now. At the end of the day, I'm living in beautiful weather in Los Angeles, I have a great family to call every day, I have a great guy to live with, I make a really good burger, I have a closet full of clothes and shoes that I shouldn't walk in, I have cable and internet so I can watch all the Real Housewives I want! I'm alive. I think I'm alive. Am I alive?
I have to get back to this book about murder. No better way to feel alive!
