Last night, I saw The Fighter. Here's what I want to say about it:
Mark Wahlberg is hot.
For some reason, after seeing Amy Adams in Julie and Julia, I thought she was kind've... ugly. But then I realized, that character was supposed to look average. In The Fighter she was pretty and pure Massachusetts trash. I liked it. Also, I realized that she's not Isla Fischer.
I'm always surprised when I get into a sports game. Or in this case, a boxing match. I was on the edge of my seat watching the final scene!
Conan O'Brien's sister was in the movie. If Conan O'Brien was a girl, that's exactly what he would look like.
Christian Bale played a very convincing crack addict, it didn't even look like him. But I also liked his character! I... generally don't like crack addicts.
The sisters were perfectly cast. I grew up with those women. I know those women. That's exactly what people from Lowell are like. I mean, not all of them, but in the 90's, yes- and people that are a little lower class {which, for the most part, is all of us.}
I loved it.
Did I mention Mark Wahlberg is hot?
