Las Vegas Picture Time.

 

So I went to Vegas last week. I stayed there.

I have twice before, this time the room was pretty gross.

 

The weather was a little too cold.

Well, just not HOT. But Savage made a good siren of TI.

 

The view from our room wasn't so bad, though.

We could see the Bellagio fountains go off.

 

And the flamingos and palm trees weren't so bad.

At least I got the franks out!

{see the arch of my foot? that arch gives me a lot of painful problems.}

 

Vegas is all class all the time.

 

The Venetian is a pretty ugly hotel. As you can see.

 

It's just like real Paris!

And I couldn't not include this:

the obligatory Vegas viewing of iCarly.

I'm leaving tomorrow night for Las Vegas!

I know I go like, every other day. But each time I do, I get so excited! I can't wait to land on the strip (twss) at night with its lights all bright. And sit by a pool (even if it's only 70ish degrees!) And eat a steak. And take a nap during the day. And yell at the virtual black jack dealer! And drink a giant frozen pina colada out of an Eiffel Tower cup. And... have fun with my friends.

5 Things I Hope To Do That I Haven't Done Yet:
1. Go to old Vegas.
2. Have an In-n-Out burger.
3. Win a million dollars.
4. Marry someone.
5. See the Welcome to Las Vegas sign.

But chances, I'll probably do what I usually do!
Hotbox in a car. Naturally.

Gonna Set My Soul On Fire

I figured out what it is I love about Las Vegas. It has nothing to do with drinking/dancing/partying. I mean, I've gone to Vegas three times in as many years and I've probably only stayed out real late like twice. But I love it because it's stuck in the past! It's this giant place in the middle of the desert that is trying to relive the glory days of the 1950's and 60's. Everywhere you turn there's an Elvis or Sinatra impersonator. The decor of the casinos is vintagey - and the wallpaper is peeling from cigarette smoke. Whenever I'm there, I feel like I've time-traveled backwards. And I love it. Plus, the weather's warm and this winter SUCKS {i've been trying real hard not to complain}, so I'm going there in March!

This time I plan on actually seeing this sign.

My neighbor's sister is a showgirl! I want to check out a show.

I'm staying here. It doesn't look that simple anymore.

I've also never been to Old Las Vegas. I must see that.

I'm gonna dance with Elvis.

I can't wait!

Dear Jet Blue,

Please don't send me an email that says, "We're sorry!" as the subject line

ONE DAY before I'm flying on your airline.

I thought something tragic had happened with one of your planes! Or worse, my trip was cancelled!

But no. You were just apologizing for sending out an email addressed to the wrong first names. STUFF I DON'T CARE ABOUT. Call me Josephine - I don't care - as long as I'm flying to Vegas on you!
